The firm's analysts suggest the highly anticipated open-world racer from Playground Games could have an "even better launch" than its predecessor, Forza Horizon 5, which launched in November 2021.
The figure is consistent with Alinea's broader tracking data for the title. The firm's updated numbers — which include over 3.3 million Steam wishlists and a projected 2 million units on day one across all platforms — point to one of the strongest pre-launch positions of any racing game in recent memory.
Forza Horizon 6 is set in Japan and launches May 19 on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a PlayStation 5 version confirmed to follow. The game features over 550 cars, with the Toyota GR GT as the cover vehicle.
