Rainbow Six Siege Y11S1.1 Patch | Every Operator and Weapon Buff Explained

Eight operators buffed, two weapons tuned, and several high-friction bugs fixed in the mid-season balance pass

March 31, 2026📖 3 min read

Rainbow Six Siege's Y11S1.1 mid-season patch is a focused balance update that follows through on the entry-fragging and roaming meta Ubisoft set with Operation Silent Hunt. The patch buffs eight operators and two weapons while fixing several bugs that surfaced after launch.

Attacker Buffs | Flores, Iana, Nøkk

Flores gets a faster post-detonation flow, reducing the downtime between detonating a RCE-RATERO drone and returning to full control. Iana receives longer intel uptime on her Gemini Replicator, giving attackers more sustained information-gathering during pushes. Nøkk's HEL Presence Reduction ability now lasts longer per activation, making her a more viable solo flanker in ranked play.

Defender Buffs | Jäger, Rook, Wamai

Jäger's Mag-NET cooldown has been reduced, allowing his active defense system to cycle faster against projectile-heavy attacker lineups. Rook now provides 25 extra health to teammates who pick up armor plates, a significant bump that reinforces his role as a passive anchor. Wamai's Mag-NET deployment speed is faster, letting him set up utility denial earlier in the round.

Weapon Tuning | M12 and POF-9

Two underperforming weapons received damage buffs. Caveira's M12 submachine gun gets a per-shot damage increase that should make her interrogation-oriented playstyle less punishing in direct gunfights. Sens's POF-9 also receives a damage bump, bringing it closer in line with other attacker primaries in the same fire-rate bracket.

Bug Fixes

Ubisoft has patched several high-priority bugs, including a Wamai Mag-NET interaction issue that caused projectiles to behave unpredictably, drone control bugs that affected multiple operators, and a Solid Snake radar exploit specific to the Oregon map that allowed attackers to scan through unintended surfaces.

Community Reaction

The creator and Reddit response has been positive overall, with most coverage framing Y11S1.1 as a "meaningful buff patch" rather than a cosmetic update. The loudest criticism remains that Ubisoft's balancing cadence, while more transparent, still feels reactive, with some players arguing the constant tuning undermines long-term muscle memory and loadout confidence.
